KIMA-TV Yakima and KEPR-TV Tri-Cities, WA – both CBS affiliates – will be adding CW affiliations as digital multicasts. The network had previously been on Pappas Telecasting LPTVs. Fisher Commuications says the sister CBS stations will produce local morning and late news for the new CW outlets.

Starting March 31, Fisher’s stations will broadcast The CW on KIMA-DT2 in Yakima and KEPR-DT2 in the Tri-Cities (Pasco, Kennewick and Richland).

"The CW Television Network is a terrific addition to our station line-up and will help us more completely serve our marketplace. The CW nicely complements our CBS affiliates and we are delighted to be working with them," said Rob Dunlop, Fisher Senior Vice President of Operations.

In addition to The CW’s primetime fare and the local news broadcasts, the stations will air syndicated shows like "The King of Queens," "Tyler Perry’s House of Payne," "Sex and the City," "Married With Children," "Still Standing," and "That ’70s Show."
