Another element in the break-up of the old New Northwest Broadcasters radio group has been completed. According to brokerage firm Kalil and Co., the sale of five stations in Klamath Falls OR to members of the Ingstad family has closed.

The stations are KLAD AM-FM, KAGO AM-FM, and KYSF-FM. All are licensed to Klamath Falls except KYSF, which is licensed to Bonanza.

Robert J. Ingstad and Tor Ingstad are buying the stations under the name Basin Mediactive LLC. According to Kalil, they have paid $600K cash for the cluster.

Selling the stations on behalf of New Northwest creditors was Revitalization Partners LLC General Receiver, headed by Alan M. Davis.

Klamath Falls is not in the Arbitron universe, but it does receive ratings from Eastlan. That firm’s list of markets by size, which combines markets rated by Arbitron, Eastlan or both onto one list, places the market in the smaller-than-300 category.
