Focus 360Focus 360 has entered into an agreement with INRIX, a leading worldwide provider of traffic info and driver services, to provide sales representation and affiliate support in the US. This partnership will result in the debut of INRIX in the U.S. as a direct provider of local traffic content to radio stations.

Focus 360 is a  media network company providing programming, syndication and national ad sales to thousands of radio stations nationwide.

INRIX allows stations to broaden their traffic content where and when their listeners find it most convenient.  INRIX’s technology enables stations to compile customized local traffic reports and build an on-air script via the click of a few keystrokes that pull the specific type of traffic data desired by the station. As the company that leading automakers, navigation app providers and governments rely on for traffic information, INRIX analyzes real-time data from a wide variety of public and private traffic sources ranging from government road sensors and real-time traffic speeds crowd-sourced from millions of vehicles and mobile devices throughout the day. This real-time data provides detailed insight into traffic speeds, travel times, accidents and other incidents on highways, interstates, city streets and other heavily traveled local roads.

Said Focus 360 CEO Phil Brown: “INRIX is a very well respected brand in the traffic intelligence sector and its availability in the U.S. will present radio stations with a state-of-the-art, turn-key alternative to other providers or to enhance the traffic content that they currently provide to their audience.”

Added INRIX VP/GM Media Nick Simmons: “Focus 360 is an excellent partner for INRIX. They have a wealth of experience in the traffic space and are a forward thinking company that embraces the latest technology to help radio stations engage their audiences.”

INRIX also offers a traffic app that can be localized and branded for stations, as well as a traffic map to run on the station’s web site. INRIX is available to stations on an inventory barter basis and free of any license fees. Focus 360 will begin selling 15-second spots on INRIX affiliates soon.
