Football dominates ratings in first week of New Year

NFL playoff games on NBC and Fox topped the ratings for the week of January 3-9. That made NBC the 18-49 winner in the Nielsen ratings, but CBS still came out on top in Households.


NBC registered an average 3.2 rating and 9 share in the 18-49 demo, with Fox at 2.8/8, ABC and CBS 2.3/6, Univision 1.3/4, Telemundo 0.5/1, CW, Ion and TeleFutura all at 0.4/1 and Azteca America and EstrellaTV 0.1/0.

In HH CBS was at 6.1/10, NBC 5.7/9, Fox 4.8/8, ABC 4.6/7, Univision 1.7/3, Ion 1.0/2, CW 0.7/1, Telemundo 0.6/1, TeleFutur 0.5/1 and EstrellaTV and Azteca America 0.1/0.
