Football scores for CBS in Week 18

Record ratings for the AFC Championship game helped CBS score a big weekly win in the Nielsen numbers. It won for both Households and the prized 18-49 demo, keeping Fox at bay despite the first two nights of “American Idol.”


In HH CBS had a staggering 9.9 average rating and16 share. But then, just wait a couple of weeks for the Super Bowl, which is on Fox this year. Fox had a 5.5/9, NBC and ABC 3.5/6, Univision 1.7/3, CW and Ion 0.8/1, Telemundo 0.6/1, TeleFutura 0.5/1 and Azteca America and EstrellaTV 0.1/0.

For 18-49 CBS was at 4.9/14, with Fox 3.6/10, ABC and NBC 1.7/5, Univision 1.3/4, Telemundo and CW 0.5/1, TeleFutura 0.4/1, Ion 0.3/1 and EstrellaTV and Azteca America 0.1/0.
