The latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Radio report is out, and GEICO isn’t No. 1.
While that is noteworthy in and of itself, there’s a new leader that certainly is an active user of radio to reach consumers. This week, this brand holds a 20,000-plus play count lead over GEICO.
The latest Spot Ten shows The Home Depot has the big leader by spot plays, with some 63,673 tallied by iHeart-owned Media Monitors.
GEICO, at No. 2 (when discounting iHeartRadio), has 40,082 spot plays for the week.
Other big campaigns seen for the week include those from CVS/Pharmacy and from Macy’s — an advertiser that is increasing its spot plays across both radio and television as the holiday shopping season already gets started.
