An owner of 25 stations in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky has partnered with SoCast to build its websites and accelerate digital growth. Through this partnership, Forcht Broadcasting will be able to build its websites and manage its social media presence with the integrated workflows on the SoCast platform.
In addition, the company will be able to grow revenue with additional digital inventory available through SoCast.
As Toronto-based SoCast puts it, Forcht was facing the challenge of building and maintaining its radio stations’ websites efficiently with a small staff. This was affecting the group’s ability to deliver an optimal online experience to its listeners and thus limited Forcht’s growth in digital revenue and engagement.
For Amy Stroud, SVP at Forcht Broadcasting, the decision was made to use the SoCast platform.
SoCast notes, “By putting the power of digital in the hands of the people who need it most, its PDs and programmers, the SoCast platform makes it easy to engage audiences with brand consistency across multiple channels (websites, mobile apps, social, etc.) and then to monetize the growing traffic on those channels. We are excited to be empowering Forcht in this respect.”
