Ford Focus in multi-platform Univision promotion


Univision Communications, Ford Motor Company and Zubi Advertising announced a multi-platform consumer promotion for the launch of the all-new 2012 Ford Focus. The “Te Da Más” (it gives you more) campaign will include Ford ads running on Univision’s television, radio and interactive platforms June 27th through July 24.

Various Univision on-air personalities will be urging viewers and listeners to participate in an online sweepstakes. Three winners will be chosen in the categories of sports, entertainment and empowerment for a “day in the life” experience.

The entertainment winner and a companion will join Carlos Calderon in a VIP adventure at a Univision Radio summer concert featuring the Mexican bank Reik.

The sports winner and a companion will enjoy special access to a major soccer event accompanied by Felix Fernandez.

The empowerment winner and a companion will spend a day alongside Jackie Guerrido, with the opportunity to meet well-known Univision journalists.

Each of the three “day in the life” contestants will capture their experiences on video and the videos will be submitted to Ford. Calderon, Fernandez and Guerrido will appear live on Univision’s “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) from the Ford-branded lounge and join host Don Francisco to award an all-new 2012 Ford Focus to the grand prize winner with the best user-generated video.
