Judith M. Confer is getting a trio of radio stations in the Kentucky capital as trustee for Kristin Cantrell, and is herself a beneficiary of a trust under the umbrella of Forever Communications and its limber organizational chart. And Forever is the seller.
The stations are WKYW-AM, WSTV-FM and WFKY-FM, all licensed to Frankfort.
The buyer is listed as Southern Belle LLC, owned by the Kristin Cantrell Family Trust, Judith M. Confer, Trustee. Confer signed off on the contract and Cantrell signed off on the application form, listing her title as president.
Forever South License LLC is the listed selling entity. Its principals are longtime partners Donald J. Alt, Kerby E. Confer and Christine Hillard.
The price is $700K cash.
WKYW-AM is a Class C on 1490 kHz with 1 kW-U, ND
WSTV-FM is a Class A on 103.7 MHz with 2.5 kW @ 358’.
WFKY-FM is a Class A on 104.9 MHz with 3.4 kW @ 282’.
