CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — For nearly 30 years, a member of the Canandaigua Kiwanis Club and its former President was a well-known owner, news anchor and morning host for an AM radio station in nearby Penn Yan, in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes region.

He also owned an FM licensed to Seneca Falls, on the eastern end of the Finger Lakes.

This former radio station owner — the twin brother of a noted media broker — passed away Tuesday of an apparent heart attack just shy of his 68th birthday.
