Fox affiliate meeting moved to NAB

Fox spokesperson Scott Grogin tells TVBR the decision to move the annual affiliate meeting from NATPE to NAB Las Vegas on 4/15 had a lot to do with timing—and the resolution of the WGA strike: “When we decided we weren’t having program development meetings, we still wanted to spend some time with our affiliate body. The NAB seemed to be the best opportunity for the maximum number of affiliates to get some face time with the networks.”

Fox originally decided to move the meeting from NATPE to the FOX lot in LA on 3/19, but the WGA strike made that impossible. Grogin confirms the NAB meeting will last some three hours.
