Fox and CBS win premiere week

Week one of the 2011-2012 television season saw CBS claim bragging rights to having the most viewers and winning the Household ratings. Fox won the big bucks 18-49 demo. Interestingly, it did so without putting a single show in the top 20 for HH ratings. Young-skewing shows like “New Girl” and “X Factor” did much, much better in 18-49.


In HH CBS scored an average 7.6 rating and 12 share, with ABC at 6.4/10, Fox 4.9/8, NBC 4.7/8, Univision 2.0/3, CW 1.1/2, Ion 0.7/1, Telemundo 0.6/1, TeleFutura 0.2/0 and Azteca America and EstrellaTV 0.1/0.

In 18-49 Fox was at 3.4/9, with CBS at 3.1/8, ABC 2.8/8, NBC 2.6/7, Univision 1.6/4, CW 0.7/2, Telemundo 0.4/1, TeleFutura and Ion 0.2/1 and EstrellaTV and Azteca America 0.1/0.
