Fox Business bests CNBC

FOX BusinessCNBC’s newest reality show, Crowd Rules, has not been ruling so much; in fact the ratings have been called “laughable” by CNBC executives. On Tuesday, Fox Business had its first primetime win over CNBC (excluding Election coverage). At 8pmET, “Cavuto” beat “Crowd Rules” by +88,000 Total Viewers and +1,000 demo viewers. At 9pmET, a repeat of “The Willis Report” beat the second hour of “Crowd Rules” by +34,000 Total Viewers and +2,000 A25-54 viewers.


Crowd Rules co-host Pat Kiernan is also the morning news anchor for New York One (NY1), the Time-Warner owned local news channel in NYC. While NY1 might be small and local, CNBC certainly isn’t.  The network has north of 90 million viewers; however, its Crowd Rules didn’y beat Kiernan’s local morning news show:
