Fox crossed the 2nd-place finish line w/ ‘House’ Monday

 Followed by soon-to-conclude 24 at a third-place 6.5/10 at 9 p.m.With originals of HOUSE and 24, FOX won the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Women 18-34 and all key male demos.


At 8p HOUSE posted a 4.1/12 among Adults 18-49, even with last week’s delivery.  HOUSE was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-34, out-performing ABC’s Dancing With the Stars and Romantically Challenged, CBS’ Rules of Engagement and NBC’s Chuck and Trauma.  In addition, HOUSE won the 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and all key male demos.

At 9p, ‘24’ posted a 2.8/7, same as last week in Adults 18-49, while it posted its highest Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers in two and a half months (both since 2/8/10).  ‘24’ ranked No. 3 in its hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and No. 1 in Men 18-34 (tie).

Competition
ABC’s Dancing With The Stars (4.3/12) again posted its lowest-rated performance show of the spring, falling -10% from last week and -20% from its prior average (5.4/15) and showing week-to-week losses with every performance telecast this cycle (6.4/17 > 5.6/16 > 5.1/14 > 4.9/14 > 4.8/13 > 4.3/12).  Week two of new comedy Romantically Challenged (2.7/7) dropped -7% from its premiere last Monday (2.9/8) and a repeat Castle delivered a 2.0/6 at 10p.

CBS’ repeat of How I Met Your Mother (1.6/5) was followed by the lowest original Rules of Engagement (2.4/7) ever (excluding specials) and repeats of Two & A Half Men (3.0/8), Big Bang Theory (3.5/9) and CSI: Miami (2.0/6).

On NBC, an original Chuck (2.1/6) and the season finale of Trauma (1.6/4) were both in line with their season averages.  At 10p, a repeat Law & Order delivered a 1.5/4.
