Fox, in a word, dependable ‘Bones’ remained with second-place

On a highly competitive night of originals across the board, FOX’s Thursday lineup held steady and made gains in the 9pm hour:


At 8p, BONES posted a 2.5/8 among Adults 18-49, down one-tenth from last week among Adults 18-49, and ranked No. 2 in the hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

At 9p, FRINGE delivered a 2.2/6 among Adults 18-49 and was up +10% compared to last week among Adults 18-49, +13% among Adults 18-34 and +4% in Total Viewers.

Competition

ABC’s Flash Forward (1.3/4) posted its lowest original rating to date, down -19% from last week and -46% from its prior 2009/10 original average (2.4/7).  Grey’s Anatomy (3.7/11) and Private Practice (2.8/8) were both down -3% week over week but fell -24% and -18%, respectively, from their season averages with first-run episodes (4.9/13 and 3.4/9).

On CBS, Survivor: Heroes & Villains (4.0/13) was down -2% from last week, CSI (3.1/9) was up +3% and the Mentalist (3.3/10) was up +3%.
NBC’s Community (2.0/7) was up +5% while Parks & Recreation (1.9/6) was flat with last w4eek.  The Office (3.5/10) was down -3% from last week and -13% from its prior season average with original episodes (4.0/11). 30 Rock (2.7/7) was flat with last week and The Marriage Ref (2.2/6) gained +16% from last week’s season low.
