FOX’s Monday night drama lineup remained stable on a night that saw a -2% overall usage decline last night vs. last Monday.
HOUSE posted a 3.5/10 and was the highest rated drama of the night among Adults 18-49 for the fifth consecutive week, as well as the highest rated program of the night outright among Adults 18-34. Compared to last week HOUSE was on par, down just a tenth (vs. 3.6/10) among Adults 18-49.
LIE TO ME at 9p delivered a 2.0/5 among Adults 18-49, up +5% from last week (1.9/5).
FOX ranked third for the night among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 among Adults 18-34 (tie).
Competition
Due to local NFL preemptions, Fast Nationals for ABC are inflated. ABC’s Dancing with the Stars (3.9/10) posted its lowest rated performance show of the season, down -3% from last week and -13% from its prior average (4.5/12). On the season, Monday’s Dancing with the Stars has yet to post week-to-week gains (5.1/13 > 4.8/12 > 4.3/11 > 4.0/10 > 3.9/10). Castle followed with 2.7/7 at 10p.
On CBS, How I Met Your Mother (3.2/9) and Rules of Engagement (2.9/8) hit season lows, down -9% and -3%, respectively, from last week. At 9p, Two and a Half Men (4.3/11) posted its lowest-rated original fall telecast ever, down -4 versus last week and -9% below its prior season average (4.7/12). New series Mike and Molly (3.4/8) and Hawaii Five-O (2.9/8) followed with their lowest ratings to date. Through the first five weeks of the 10/11 season, Mike and Molly (3.7/9) and Hawaii Five-O (3.4/9) are down -26% and -17%, respectively from CBS’s year-ago time period levels (5.0/12, The Big Bang Theory; 4.1/11, CSI: Miami).
NBC’s Chuck (1.9/5) and The Event (2.2/5) matched their lowest ratings of the season, flat week over week but down -5% and -21% from their prior season averages (2.0/5 and 2.8/7, respectively). At 10p, Chase delivered a 1.6/4, up one tenth from last week but down -16% from its prior average (1.9/5).
