Fox Monday w/ 'Terra Nova' and 'House' third-place

Airing against heavy sports competition (NFL football on ESPN and WWE wrestling on USA), FOX’s Monday lineup remained solid among Women but saw a -14% week-over-week decline among Male demos last night.

TERRA NOVA posted a 2.3/6, down -12% from last week, but still won its hour among Teens. At 9pm, HOUSE drew a 2.5/6, down -11% from last week. FOX ranked third for the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and #2 in Teens.

Following ABC’s Dancing with the Stars performance show from 8-10p (3.4/8, flat), Diane Sawyer’s 20/20 interview with Gabrielle Giffords posted a 2.8/7, up +8% from what Castle has been averaging in the time period.
On CBS, How I Met Your Mother (4.5/12, up +2%), 2 Broke Girls (4.8/12, up +4%), and Two and a Half Men  (5.3/12, up +2%) were in line with their recent performances from 8-930p. Mike & Molly (4.4/10, up +5%) and Hawaii Five-0 (3.3/8, up +6%) finished the night on the high side.

Due to a local NFL preemption in Minneapolis (1.5% US), Fast Nationals for NBC are inflated. NBC aired The Sing Off (1.5/4, flat) from 8-10p, followed by week three of Rock Center with Brian Williams (1.3/3), which saw a +30% increase featuring the first post-scandal interview with Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky.
