Fox scores third on Thursday

FOXThursday night, TAKE ME OUT kicked off the night with a 1.2/4 among Adults 18-49, the same as last week. TAKE ME OUT tied its highest ratings ever in Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 and posted its highest rating ever among Teens.


Airing against the season premiere of Big Brother on CBS, this summer’s final telecast of THE CHOICE delivered 1.2/4, down -25% from last week’s rating.

FOX ranked third for the night among Adults 18-49 and #2 in Adults 18-34 and Teens.

Competition

ABC’s Duets (1.0/4) matched its lowest rating to date, flat with last week (1.0/3). Wipeout (1.7/5) followed with its lowest Thursday night rating this summer, down -6% from last week (1.8/6). At 10pm, Rookie Blue (1.3/4) was flat with last week’s rating (1.3/4).

Following repeats of The Big Bang Theory at 8pm (2.3/8) and 8:30pm (2.8/9), the premiere of CBS’ Big Brother 14 posted a 2.6/8, down -7% from its season 13 launch last summer (2.8/8 on Thurs 7/7/11). Big Brother dropped -7% from its repeat lead-in and saw erosion in its hour, losing -7% of its A18-49 audience from 9-9:30p (2.7 > 2.5). At 10pm, a repeat Person Of Interest delivered a 1.2/4.

NBC ran repeats of The Office (0.6/2) and Parks & Recreation (0.6/2), followed by originals of Saving Hope (0.5/2, up one tenth) and Rock Center with Brian Williams (1.2/4, up +33%).
