Fox second-place Thursday w/ 'The X Factor'


Television viewing levels were down -4% among Adults 18-49 last night vs. last Thursday.

With THE X FACTOR Top 4 results show and an encore BONES, FOX ranked #2 last night among Adults 18-49 and #1 in Adults 18-34.
THE X FACTOR: 2.8/8, down only one-tenth (-3%) in the core adult demo and up +5% (2.2 vs. 2.1) among Adults 18-34 versus last Thursday.

THE X FACTOR ranked #1 last night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

In addition, THE X FACTOR grew +19% in its second half hour vs. its first in Adults 18-49 (2.6 > 3.1).

BONES (R): 1.5/4.


ABC aired the holiday special A Charlie Brown Christmas (1.8/5, down -5% from last year’s telecast), followed by the ABC News special The Year with Katie Couric (1.5/4).

Following a repeat The Big Bang Theory (2.8/9), CBS’ Rules of Engagement dropped to a season low 2.7/8, down -10% from last week’s episode. Person of Interest (2.8/8, flat) and The Mentalist (2.7/7, flat) finished the night about average.

Following repeats of Community (0.8/2), Parks & Recreation (0.7/2), The Office (1.1/3), and Whitney (0.8/2), NBC’s Prime Suspect (0.8/2) dropped -38% to its season low and delivered the network’s lowest original rating ever on an in-season Thursday
