FOX Sports is turning up the heat in their weekend lineup. On 9/25, they will debut the new Saturday show “Stox ‘n Jocks,” hosted by former NFL players turned professional traders Jon and Pete Najarian, along with their business partner Guy Adami, The crew will be discussing…believe it or not…the financial news of the day as well as hot topics in the sports industry.
 
The program will feature investment ideas, financial analysis and expert interviews, in addition to discussion on the leading sports topics of the day.  Stox ‘n Jocks will air from 7 – 9 a.m. ET/4 – 6 a.m. PT.


The Najarian brothers are co-founders of the optionMONSTER Group, a financial services group which includes: optionMONSTER, which provides investors with market insight, trading ideas and investment education; and tradeMONSTER, an online brokerage rated “Best for Options Traders” by Barron’s.  Adami, whose career on Wall Street has spanned more than twenty years, joined the optionMONSTER Group in 2008.  Adami and the Najarians serve as CNBC Contributors, appearing regularly on CNBC’s daily financial programs “Fast Money Halftime Report,” (weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET) and “Fast Money” (weekdays at 5 p.m. ET).

Jon “DRJ” Najarian briefly played linebacker for the Chicago Bears before beginning his career in finance in 1981.  Pete Najarian’s NFL career spanned several seasons, during which he played linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Minnesota Vikings.  Pete, who was a Williams Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten, also held the University of Minnesota career tackles record for years.
