WPT Enterprises, the company that owns the World Poker Tour, announced a deal with News Corporation’s Fox Sports Network (FSN) to extend the television broadcast license to cover World Poker Tour Season VIII. The new season begins filming in mid-2009. Season VII began airing o FSN in January.
