Last night, FOX’s ANIMATION DOMINATION lineup faced strong competition from the AFC Championship Playoffs on CBS. At 7p an encore THE SIMPSONS posted a 2.1/5 among Adults 18-49 followed by AMERICAN DAD (2.2/5), up +29% from last week (1.7/4).

THE SIMPSONS at 8pm posted a 3.1/7 among Adults 18-49 — same as last week — while BOB’S BURGERS declined -12% from last week’s telecast (2.2/5 vs. 2.5/6).  An encore FAMILY GUY at 9p posted a 2.5/5 and an original THE CLEVELAND SHOW followed with a 2.4/5 down -11% from last week (2.7/7).

FOX ranked No. 2 among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

Competition
ABC’s America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.4/3) matched its lowest original rating this season, while Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (1.9/4) was down -5% from last week and -21% from its prior original average (2.4/6).  Repeats of Desperate Housewives (1.1/2) and Brothers & Sisters (0.7/2) closed out the night from 9-11p.

Due to the nature of live sports, Fast Nationals for CBS are approximate. Hawaii Five-0 started at 10:13p. CBS’s coverage of the AFC Championship: New York Jets vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and post-game posted a 17.3/40 from 7-10p. The post-game and the start of a special Hawaii Five-0 combined to deliver a 6.9/17 from 10-10:30p, with the remainder of Hawaii Five-O at a 4.6/12 from 10:30-11p.

Following a low Dateline (0.6/1), NBC aired Sex & The City: The Movie (0.9/2) from 8-11p.
