FOX Sunday animation ‘The Simpsions’ grabs #1 in Teens

Last night, FOX ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-34, Teens and Men 18-49/18-34 and No. 3 among Adults 18-49.


At 8p THE SIMPSONS posted a 2.7/8 among Adults 18-49, the same as last week, to rank No. 2 in the half hour among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 in Adults 18-34, Teens, Women 18-34 and Men 18-49/18-34. 

At 8:30p THE CLEVELAND SHOW posted a 2.6/7, down -4% from its last original on 4/11/10 among Adults 18-49. THE CLEVELAND SHOW ranked No. 3 in the time period among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 in Adults 18-34, Teens and Men 18-49/18-34.

In the 9p hour an original FAMILY GUY plus special clip show posted a 3.5/9 among Adults 18-49, up +3% from its last original on 4/11/10.  FAMILY GUY ranked No. 2 in the hour among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 in Adults 18-34, Teens and all key male demos. 

TIL DEATH at 7p (0.7/2) and an encore THE SIMPSONS at 7:30p (1.0/3) combined to rank No. 4 in the hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and No. 2 in Teens.

Competition
ABC’s America’s Funniest Home Videos posted a 1.7/6 at 7pm.  At 8p, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (2.4/7) was flat with its last original on 4/11/10 while Desperate Housewives (3.7/10) and Brothers & Sisters (2.5/7) both gained +9% from last week but were below their season averages, both dropping -14% from their 2009/10 original averages (4.3/10 and 2.9/8, respectively).

CBS aired 60 Minutes (2.2/8) at 7p, which gained +38% week over week but was down -12% from its prior season average.  At 8p, Amazing Race 16 (3.0/9) was down -6% followed by the season’s last two episodes of Cold Case (2.0/5 and 2.2/6).

Following NBC’s Dateline Sunday (1.1/4) at 7p, Minute To Win It (1.9/6) grew one tenth from last week and The Apprentice 9: Celebrity Edition (2.6/7) dropped -16% week over week.
