Human Target has performed and is getting closer to a second season renewal. American Idol sent another one packing, Lacey Brown was shown the door.
With an original HUMAN TARGET at 8p and the AMERICAN IDOL Top 12 Results show at 8p, FOX ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all demos and outperformed the next highest-rated network by +150% among Adults 18-49, +113% among Adults 18-34, +118% among Teens and +103% among Total Viewers.
At 8p HUMAN TARGET delivered a 2.3/8 among Adults 18-49 and won its hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 25-54, Women 25-54 and all key male demos. HUMAN TARGET was on par with last week’s delivery among Adults 18-49 (2.3/8 vs. 2.4/7) and showed growth of +3% in Total Viewers.
The AMERICAN IDOL Top 12 Results show posted a 6.6/19 among Adults 18-49 and won its hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos.
Compared to last week’s results show on 3/11/10, AMERICAN IDOL showed growth of +5% among Adults 18-49 and +4% in Total Viewers.
In fact, AMERICAN IDOL beat the combined 4-net competition last night by +16% among Adults 18-49 and +4% in Total Viewers last night.
So far this season, AMERICAN IDOL’s average is on par with the same weeks last year (Most Current ratings vs. comparable Most Current), showing 94% retention among Adults 18-49, 95% among Adults 18-34, 97% among Teens and 95% in Total Viewers.
ABC ran the season finale of Scrubs (1.2/4) and repeats of The Middle (1.4/5), Modern Family (1.8/5) and Cougar Town (1.3/4). Ugly Betty (1.0/3) dropped -29% from last week and hit its lowest-ever rating for an original in a regular time period.
CBS aired a repeat of The New Adventures Of Old Christine (1.4/5) and a low original Gary Unmarried (1.8/6) followed by repeats of Criminal Minds (1.8/5) and CSI: NY (1.6/5).
NBC’s Mercy (1.4/5) matched its lowest original rating to date, falling -7% from last week and -22% from its season average with first-run episodes (1.8/5). After a repeat Law & Order: SVU (1.2/4) at 9p, an original SVU (2.8/8) was on par at 10p.
