Fox: ‘The Page Has Been Turned’

When Fox spun out from Disney with just the domestic television assets and slimmed down live sports and news cable network portfolio, MoffettNathanson Senior Analyst Michael Nathanson was excited for the opportunity “to see the benefits of this simplified strategy play out in an increasingly challenged media landscape.”


While it might have taken a little longer to get there, he believes this quarter marks an important turning point for the company’s narrative. “Put simply, we believe our thesis that Fox has unrivalled pricing power and stickier viewership is right and we expect Fox to build upon this momentum and outperform its peers,” he notes.

Fox’s story as Nathanson sees it comes down to two main drivers.
