Last night, the season finale of BONES at 8p posted a 2.8/10 among Adults 18-49, gaining versus last week by +8% (vs. 2.6/8) and winning the hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34/25-54 and Teens (tie). BONES is also up +8% compared to its finale last year (vs. 2.6/8 on 5/14/09).
Airing against strong competition in the hour, the season finale of FRINGE delivered a 2.0/6 among Adults 18-49, down from last week (-13% vs. 2.3/7).
FOX ranked third for the night among Adults 18-49 (tie) and Adults 18-34.
Competition
Following a Flash Forward (1.6/5) that was up +23% from last week, the two-hour season finale of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy (5.3/15) delivered its lowest rated season closer ever, dropping -10% from its 08/09 finale last May (5.9/16 on 5/14/09).
On CBS, a special repeat of the Mentalist posted a 1.4/5. The season finale of CSI (3.2/9) was up +7% week over week but down -9% from last season’s finale (on 5/14/09). At 10p, The Mentalist (3.2/9) was even with last week’s delivery but down -14% from last season’s finale on 5/19/09.
The season finales of NBC’s Community (2.0/7), Parks & Recreation (2.1/7) and The Office (3.4/10) were in line with last week. 30 Rock (2.8/8) was up +12% versus last week but flat with last year’s season finale and The Marriage Ref (2.1/6) closed the season with an average-rated episode.
