Following an original No Ordinary Family (1.9/5), the second season of ABC’s V opened with a 2.1/5, down -60% from its series debut last fall (5.2/14 on Tue 11/3/09) and flat with its finale on 5/18/10 (2.1/6). Closing out the night, Detroit 1-8-7 (1.2/3) delivered its lowest original rating to date, down -14% from its last telecast on 12/07/10
On CBS, the debut of Paula Abdul’s Live to Dance posted a 2.4/6 from 8-10p. A special repeat of NCIS (1.7/5) finished the night.
The two-hour premiere of NBC’s Biggest Loser: Couples (3.3/9) delivered the show’s lowest rating ever for a spring cycle launch, down -28% from its season 9 premiere on the same night last year (4.6/12 on Tue 1/5/10). At 10p, Parenthood returned from hiatus with a 2.3/6.
