Fox, two-hours 'The X Factor' third-place

Last night, THE X FACTOR judges revealed their Top 17 and gave FOX another nightly win among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. 


Despite multiple airings out of pattern, THE X FACTOR has been #1 with entertainment programming on every single night it has aired.

In addition, FOX posted its largest Tuesday night advantage over the #2 network in Adults 18-49 so far this season (+19% over CBS).

THE X FACTOR: 3.8/10, up +12% from Sunday’s telecast and up +3% from last Thursday’s airing
THE X FACTOR was the #1 program of the night in Adults 18-49 (3.8/10, tied with NCIS), Adults 18-34 and Teens
In addition, THE X FACTOR gained +15% in Total Viewers vs. Sunday’s telecast and delivered FOX’s most-watched Tuesday so far this season
 
FOX has won every Tuesday night so far this season in Adults 18-49 with entertainment programming.

Competition

On ABC, week two of new Tim Allen comedy Last Man Standing (3.0/9) fell -17% from its hour-long debut last week (3.6/10). At 830p, the series premiere of new comedy Man Up! posted a 2.4/6, shedding -20% of its lead-in and registering as ABC’s lowest rated comedy debut since Hank (2.1/7 on 9/30/09). Dancing With The Stars Results (2.6/6) dropped -21% to a season low at 9p, while Body of Proof (1.9/5, up +6%) was about average.

CBS’ NCIS posted a season-low 3.8/10 at 8p, down -5% from last week’s episode. NCIS: Los Angeles (3.3/8, flat) tied its season low and new drama Unforgettable (2.5/6) finished the night up +9%.

NBC’s The Biggest Loser (1.9/5) dropped -5% and posted its lowest rating this fall and up to this point is off to the franchise’s worst start ever, down -22% from its previous lowest installment through five telecasts (2.1/6 vs. 2.7/7 last fall). Parenthood closed out the night with a 2.0/5 at 10p, down -5% from last week and tied as its season low.
