In a move designed to maintain its strength in broadcast and cable network distribution, Fox Networks (FN) has promoted two outstanding executives and company veterans to Senior Vice President. Jessica Fang has been named Senior Vice President, Distribution, National Accounts and David Espinosa is now Senior Vice President, Distribution, Strategic Analysis. The announcement was made by Michael Biard, President, Distribution, Fox Networks, to whom both report.
In her new role, Fang will expand her oversight of FN’s day-to-day relationships with national distributors, including negotiating distribution agreements covering all of FN’s media platforms. She also negotiates compensation for retransmission consent for Fox’s owned-and-operated broadcast stations and advises on strategies and tactics in dealing with FN’s top distributors.
Espinosa will provide critical strategic analysis and guidance across the full range of Fox Networks’ distribution activities involving FN’s 44 owned-and-operated and joint venture TV networks. He will also take an expanded leadership role regarding the strategy, negotiation, implementation and administration of affiliation and retransmission consent agreements between Fox and all major cable, satellite and telco providers.
