Airing against increased competition this week, FOX’s HOUSE (2.4/6) declined -17% and ALCATRAZ (2.2/5) declined -21% versus their most recent telecasts.


Competition

ABC’s The Bachelor (2.6/6) was flat with last week’s rating, but through six weeks is down -14% from its comparable performance last year (2.5/6 vs. 2.9/8). Castle (2.0/5) matched its lowest original rating of the season, down -5% versus is most recent telecast and down -17% from its prior season average (2.4/6).

On CBS, How I Met Your Mother (4.0/11, down -9%) and 2 Broke Girls (4.3/11, down -7%) were on the low side, while Two & A Half Men (4.2/10, down -9%) and Mike & Molly (3.4/8, down -11%) both posted their season lows. At 10pm, Hawaii Five-0 (2.7/7) dropped -4% matched its season low.

On the heels of its post-Super Bowl premiere on Sunday, night two of NBC’s The Voice posted a 6.6/16 from 8-10p, down -60% from Sunday’s airing (vs. 16.3/37). New drama Smash premiered with a 3.8/10 at 10p, up significantly from the midseason debut of Harry’s Law in the time period, but down -42% from its Voice lead-in. Smash also showed erosion in its hour, losing -19% of its A18-49 rating from 10pm to 1030pm (4.2/10 > 3.4/9).
