With the two-hour series premiere of THE X FACTOR last night, FOX won the Wednesday night of premiere week for the first time among in 18 years (since 9/22/93, 90210/Melrose Place) among Adults 18-49.
In addition, THE X FACTOR gave FOX its highest rated Wednesday night of premiere week in 13 years among Adults 18-49 (since 9/23/98, 90210/Party of Five) and 16 years among Total Viewers (since 9/20/95, 90210/Melrose Place).
THE X FACTOR premiered at a 4.4/12 among Adults 18-49, up +52% from FOX’s performance on the night last season (vs. HELL’S KITCHEN 2-hour premiere on 9/22/10). In addition, THE X FACTOR drew 12.5 million Total Viewers, making it FOX’s most-watched Fall series debut in 5 years.
