The Wednesday premiere of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE led FOX to victory last night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE posted a 3.0/9 among Adults 18-49, up from last year’s Wednesday premiere by +7% among Adults 18-49 (3.0/9 vs. 2.8/9), +12% in Teens (1.9/8 vs. 1.7/7) and +14% in Total Viewers (8.4 vs. 7.4 Mil).

In addition, last night’s telecast was the show’s most-watched Wednesday in two years in Total Viewers (since 6/17/09) and Teens (since 6/3/09).

Competition

ABC ran repeats of The Middle at 8p (1.3/5) and 830p (1.6/5), Modern Family at 9p (2.2/6) and 930p (2.2/6), Cougar Town (1.5/4) at 10p and Happy Endings (1.2/3) at 1030p.

CBS aired repeats of Mike & Molly (1.1/4) and Rules of Engagement (1.2/4) during the 8p hour, followed by repeats of Criminal Minds (1.5/4) and Blue Bloods (1.2/3).

Due to the nature of live sports, Fast Nationals for NBC are approximate.  NBC’s Stanley Cup Finals Game 1: Boston Bruins vs. Vancouver Canucks posted a 1.8/5 from 8-11p, about even with last year’s Game 1 (Philadelphia Flyers vs. Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday 5/29/10), which posted a 1.7 in both the Fast and Final Nationals.
