Airing against increased competition from the NFL Draft coverage and NBA Playoffs (Lakers vs, Hornets) on cable last night, FOX won its 15th consecutive Thursday across all key demos and outperformed the next highest rated network for the night by +68% in Adults 18-49 and +31% in Total Viewers.
AMERICAN IDOL: 5.5/16, down -5% (but we expect this to go up a few tenths in the finals this afternoon)
IDOL was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Teens and in the 8p hour beat the next highest rated network (CBS) by +96% in the core adult demo and +109% in Total Viewers.
So far this season with Comparable Most Current ratings AMERICAN IDOL retains 94% of its A18-49 audience (8.4/23 vs. 8.9/23) and is up +2% in Total Viewers (24.8 vs. 24.4 Mil.) versus the same period last season.
BONES: 2.8/7, down -13% against Steve Carell’s final episode of The Office
