FOX Monday average up 74% versus last fall
FOX’s Monday night dramas HOUSE and LIE TO ME both returned from baseball pre-emptions to double-digit gains versus their previous original telecasts. In fact, FOX won the night in Adults 18-49. Adults 18-34, Teens and key demos and grew substantially from its Monday average last Fall: up +74% among Adults 18-49, up +90% in Adults 18-34 and up +60% in total viewers.
HOUSE
In the 8p hour HOUSE posted a 5.1/13 among Adults 18-49 and showed growth compared to its most recent telecast on 10/19/09 of +13% among Adults 18-49, +11% among Adults 18-34, and +9% in Total Viewers
HOUSE was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC’s Dancing With the Stars and Castle, CBS’ How I Met Your Mother, Accidentally on Purpose, Two & A Half Men, Big Bang Theory and CSI: Miami and NBC’s Heroes, Trauma and Jay Leno.
Last night’s HOUSE won the 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Teens and virtually all key demos.
LIE TO ME
At 9p LIE TO ME delivered a 3.0/7 among Adults 18-49 and posted its second highest ratings deliveries of the season among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
LIE TO ME outperformed its last telecast on 10/26/09 by a whopping +25% among Adults 18-49, +17% among Adults 18-34 and +19% in Total Viewers
Competition
ABC’s Dancing With The Stars (3.5/9) and Castle (2.5/7) were both in line with their prior season averages (3.6/9 and 2.4/6).
CBS’ How I Met Your Mother (3.5/9) and Accidentally on Purpose (3.0/7) were on par while Two & A Half Men (4.4/11) and Big Bang Theory (4.5/11) delivered their lowest originals of the season (Two & A Half Men matched its lowest). At 10p, CSI: Miami (4.0/11) matched its 2009/10 original average.
NBC’s Heroes (2.3/6) delivered its lowest original rating ever, down -12% from its prior season average (2.6/7) while new series’ Trauma (1.8/4) and The Jay Leno Show (1.2/3) each matched their lowest original ratings of the year.
