FOX dominated the competition last night with HUMAN TARGET at 8pm and Day 2 of AMERICAN IDOL’s Hollywood Round at 9pm. FOX ranked No.1 among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers and all other demos, outperforming the next highest-rated network by +82% in the adult demo, +118% among Adults 18-34, +217% among Teens and +40% in Total Viewers.
HUMAN TARGET:
At 8p HUMAN TARGET delivered a 2.5/7 among Adults 18-49 and gained +4% among Adults 18-49, +13% among Adults 18-34 and +14% in Total Viewers versus last week’s telecast.
HUMAN TARGET ranked No. 1 in the 8p hour in Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Men 18-49, and No. 2 among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.
AMERICAN IDOL:
At 9p AMERICAN IDOL-WED posted a 9.5/23 among Adults 18-49, down only slightly versus last season’s Day 2 of the Hollywood Round
AMERICAN IDOL showed substantial gains compared to last Wednesday, increasing +22% among Adults 18-49, +25% among Adults 18-34 and +19% in Total Viewers.
AMERICAN IDOL won the 9p hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Teens and all key demos. In fact, AMERICAN IDOL outperformed the combined 4-net competition in the hour by +8% among Adults 18-49, +14% among Adults 18-34, +94% in Teens and its closest competitor in Total Viewers (CBS) by +69%.
Competition
Following the annual special A Charlie Brown Valentine (2.5/7), ABC’s original episodes of The Middle (3.0/8) and Modern Family (4.2/10) were high while Cougar Town (2.8/7) and Ugly Betty (1.7/5) were on par.
CBS aired The New Adventures Of Old Christine (2.3/7), Gary Unmarried (2.4/7), Criminal Minds (3.8/9) and CSI: NY (3.6/10).
NBC ran an original episode of Mercy (1.8/5) at 8p and repeats of Law & Order: SVU at 9p (1.2/3) and 10p (1.8/5).
