FOX's new animation 'Bob's Burgers' wins Sunday in Teens, 18-34

With the series debut of BOB’S BURGERS in its Sunday Animation Domination block, FOX won the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos, and delivered its highest rated 8-10p animated comedy block in over three years among Total Viewers (since 11/4/07).


 In addition, FOX dominated the next highest rated network by +173% last night.

At 8p THE SIMPSONS posted a 5.7/14 among Adults 18-49, its highest-rated telecast in one year (since 1/10/10) and up +78% from its most recent telecast (3.2/8 on 12/12/10). 

The series premiere of BOB’S BURGERS at 8:30p delivered a 4.5/11 among Adults 18-49 and was the highest rated series debut on any network so far this season among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. 

At 9p FAMILY GUY drew a 4.7/11 among Adults 18-49 — its highest rating in the demo in over one year (since 10/4/09) — and was up +18% from its last telecast (4.0/9, 12/12/10).

The time period premiere of THE CLEVELAND SHOW at 9:30p posted a 3.5/8 among Adults 18-49, up +9% from its most recent 8:30p telecast on 12/5/10 (3.1/7) and is its highest rating in over one year (since 11/29/09, 8:30p). 

Competition

Following America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.8/5, down -14%) and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (2.6/6, down -4%), ABC’s Desperate Housewives (3.8/9) and Brothers & Sisters (2.3/6) were in line with their recent performances.

Following 60 Minutes (1.6/4), CBS’s CSI: Miami posted a 2.5/6 at 8p, up +14% from its last original but on par with its prior season performance in the 10p hour.  At 9p, Undercover Boss (3.0/7) was down -9% from its prior average (3.3/8). A special Criminal Minds repeat finished the night with a 1.8/5.

NBC ran Dateline Sunday (1.1/3) at 7p, followed by the 2-hour series premiere of new drama The Cape (2.6/6) at 9p, which was down -16% vs. the 3/2/10 premiere of Parenthood last season.
