Fox’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ taps in a par

Last night’s, 11/10/09,  2-hour SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE performance show was on par with last Tuesday’s telecast, posting a 2.3/6 among Adults 18-49. SYTYCD continues to beat ABC’s Dancing With the Stars in the younger adult demo, outperforming DWTS by +14% among Adults 18-34 in head-to-head competition from 9p-10p last night.


Competition

Week two of new ABC drama V posted a 3.7/10, down -29% from its premiere last Tuesday (5.2/14). This is the biggest week-two drop of any new scripted series this season.  At 9p, Dancing With The Stars results (3.4/9) was up +10% with Michael Buble and Susan Boyle as guests, while the CMA special In The Spotlight with Robin Roberts posted a 2.4/7 at 10p.

On CBS, NCIS (4.2/11) delivered its lowest original of the season while NCIS: LA (3.7/9) was slightly below its 2009/10 first-run average (3.9/10).  The Good Wife at 10p (2.7/7) was flat week-over-week to match its lowest-rated telecast this season.

NBC’s The Biggest Loser 8 (3.7/10) and The Jay Leno Show (1.9/5) were both in line with their recent performances.
