Opening night of May ratings sweep last night, Thursday, 4/29/10, BONES posted a 2.5/8 at 8p, identical to last week’s delivery in the demo, up +5% among Adults 18-34 and up +1% among Total Viewers. At 9p, FRINGE delivered a 2.0/6, down a tenth (-5%) from last week but on par with its prior season average.
Competition
ABC’s Flash Forward at 8p (1.5/5) was down -6% from last week and down -38% from its prior season average with original episodes. At 9p, Grey’s Anatomy (3.8/11) increased +9% from its last original but was down -22% from its prior season average with original episodes. At 10p, Private Practice (3.0/9) gained +15% from its last original but was down -12% from its prior season average with original episodes.
On CBS, Survivor: Heroes & Villains (4.0/13) was up +11% 8p. CSI (3.0/8) at 9p was up +7 from last week but was down -14% from its prior season performance with first-run episodes (3.5/9). The Mentalist (3.2/9) was up +7% at 10p.
NBC’s Community (2.0/7) was up +25% from last week’s season low while Parks & Recreation (2.0/6) was flat with last week. At 9p, The Office (3.6/11) was on the low side, up +13% from last week but down -12% from its prior average with originals this season (4.1/11). Following 30 Rock (2.9/8 – up +16%) at 930p, The Marriage Ref (2.0/6) was low at 10p, up one tenth week over week but down -20% from its prior average this spring (2.5/7).
