Fox's 'The Chicago Code' slipped to a third-place finish

With an original HOUSE and week two of THE CHICAGO CODE, FOX ranked second last night among Adults 18-49 and #1 among Adults 18-34.


At 8p HOUSE posted a 3.4/10 among Adults 18-49, down -21% from last week (4.3/12), but still won the 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens.
      
Week two of THE CHICAGO CODE posted a 2.0/5 among Adults 18-49, down -17% from its debut last week (2.4/6).
 
Competition

On ABC, The Bachelor posted a 2.9/8 from 8-10p, down -9% from last week. Through seven telecasts, The Bachelor is down -26% from last year (2.9/8 vs. 3.9/10). At 10pm, Castle (2.2/7) closed out the night with a -12% week over week decline.

Following How I Met Your Mother (3.7/11, down -3%), the series debut of CBS’s Mad Love posted a 3.0/8, down -23% from the 9/20/10 premiere of Mike & Molly (3.9/10) but on par with the performance of former timeslot occupant Rules of Engagement.

At 9pm Two And A Half Men (4.2/11) declined -5% and matched its original season low, while Mike & Molly (3.8/10) gained +9% from last week. 

Hawaii Five-0 matched last week’s series low (2.8/8), finishing the night -10% below its prior original average (3.1/8). So far this season, new series Mike & Molly (3.7/9) and Hawaii Five-0 (3.1/8) are down -29% and -21% from the network’s comparable original time period performances last season (The Big Bang Theory: 5.2/12, CSI: Miami: 3.9/10).

NBC’s Chuck (1.7/5) was flat week over week and matched its series low. At 9p, The Cape (1.2/3) dropped -8% and posted its lowest rating to date, showing steady declines with every original episode on the air (2.6 > 1.8 > 1.6 > 1.5 > 1.3 > 1.2). Harry’s Law (1.7/5) tied last week’s low, down -15% from its prior average (2.0/6).
