Competition
Airing against less competition than usual, ABC’s The Middle (2.4/7, up +14%), The Neighbors (2.0/6, up +25%), Modern Family (4.7/12, up +12%) and Suburgatory (2.7/7, up +23%) were all up from their most recent originals, which were season lows. Nashville was up +5% from its most recent original (1.9/5 on 12/5/12).
Following a special I Get That A Lot (2.0/6), CBS’ 2012 People’s Choice Awards delivered a 2.6/7, up +4% from last year’s show (2.5/7 on 1/11/12).
NBC’s Whitney (1.4/4, down -22%), Guys With Kids (1.3/4, down -24%), Law & Order: SVU (2.1/5, down -5%), and Chicago Fire (2.2/6, down -8%) were all down from last week.
