Compass Media Networks’ Free Beer & Hot Wings show has been selected by L M Communications and Wilks Broadcasting as the morning drive shows for WBVX-FM B92.1 Classic Hits in Lexington, KY and KURK-FM “The Bandit” in Reno, NV respectively.
The additions of Lexington and Reno cap a hectic Q1 for FB&HW, during which Compass announced a multi-year extension for Albany and Grand Rapids with Townsquare Media as well as agreements with Clear Channel for carriage in Colorado Springs and Memphis.
Peter Kosann, CEO of Compass Media Networks, says they are thrilled with the progress of the show and plan to make another big announcement about the show next week.
Hosted by a cast including Gregg “Free Beer” Daniels, Chris “Hot Wings” Michaels, Eric Zane, Producer Joe and Producer Steve, the show offers five-hours of live morning drive entertainment programming. It airs from flagship WGRD-FM Grand Rapids. MI where the show captures roughly 35% of the listeners in the market.
