The multi-year contract extends Compass Media Networks’ Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show, which has been running some seven years with Townsquare in Grand Rapids, Albany, Flint & St. Cloud (as well as dozens of other markets). Townsquare Chairman and CEO Steven Price says the deal motivator was that they’ve proven to be able to grow audience.
Peter Kosann, Compass CEO, tells RBR-TVBR: “Free Beer + Hot Wings are break out stars. The future is very very bright for this show.”
He says that the show is experiencing record levels of success—in ratings, affiliates, web hits, advertiser and listener response.
