Empire Post Media announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Hybrid-Reality Entertainment, has entered into a worldwide distribution deal for its one-hour reality television series, “Journey Beyond,” with The Freemantle Corporation. The pilot is currently being shot in 3D.

“We feel fortunate to have The Freemantle Corporation representing our product. The stature of a company such as Freemantle, representing Journey Beyond, will not only boost our revenue but also allow us to build a solid corporate image throughout the world,” said Empire President Peter Dunn.

The series, currently in production in Los Angeles, was created and produced by Richard Mann and Ellen Fontana. Journey Beyond explores psychic and paranormal experiences, based on the real stories of real people.

Hybrid-Reality was formed six months ago by Mann and Fontana to create, develop and produce reality based television programming in the areas of paranormal phenomena, private investigation, world history, sports, social networking and current events. The company was recently acquired by Empire in a stock for stock exchange, and is currently operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Empire, which has publicly traded stock.
