A noncommercial do-it-yourself project is earmarked for Sandusky OH, but a new company will be at the helm when it is finally up and running. But both buyer and seller agree on what the programming focus will be.

The station is WHRQ-FM CP Sandusky, an unrated city which sits right on Lake Erie about halfway between Cleveland and Toledo.

It is going from Port Clinton Knights of Columbus Home Association, headed by Gerald Arnold, to Our Lady of Guadalupe Radio Inc. d/b/a Annunciation Radio. Its principals are Michael Learned Sr. and Richard Nelson, among others.

The price is $25K. The buyer will put $2.5K into escrow, will be given a credit for LMA fees and any legitimate and prudent expenses to get the station into operation, and will write a promissory note for the remainder.

The CP is for a Class B1 on 88.1 MHz with 14.5 kw @ 256’.
