Four iHeartMedia Region Presidents have been elevated to Division Presidents of the iHeartMedia Markets Group.
Getting the promotion are Linda Byrd, Scott Hopeck, Brian Olson and Jeff Tyler.
Effective immediately, they join current Division President Kevin LeGrett, who has been bumped up to EVP/Operations for the Markets Group, and Division President Tom McConnell.
All report to iHeartMedia Markets Group President Greg Ashlock.
Ashlock said the new leadership structure allows iHeartMedia “to accelerate how we import and export innovation.” He pointed to iHeart’s “unique first party and attribution data that until now they have only found in digital.”
He continued, “We now have solutions for the largest all the way to the smallest of our partners which will enable us to continue to both expand our platforms and build products that only a company of our scale can accomplish.”
LeGrett has been Market President for iHeartMedia’s Los Angeles station group since August 2015. Before that he was SVP/Operations for the company’s 220 radio stations across 46 Northeast and Midwest markets, based in Rochester, N.Y. He spent five years in that position.
From 2003-2010, LeGrett was President of Citadel Broadcasting, overseeing 50 stations in 12 markets from Buffalo.
For six years before that, LeGrett was in Rochester — as SVP/Market Manager for CBS Radio’s stations in the Western New York metropolis.
