From his October 1998 entry into the company from Barnstable Broadcasting until his August 2016 “retirement” from the radio industry, Gary Pizzati was a key advertising sales leader at the pre-bankruptcy version of Cumulus Media.

Since December 2017, he’s been associated with Modern Luxury, the magazine publisher led by CEO Michael Dickey.

Now, Pizzati has launched a “trusted media guidance” shop designed to provide business consulting services, along with brand creation strategies, for clients interested in reaching consumers across all media platforms.

Introducing 11 Street Media, a firm with an approach that “bridges mobile, social, video and traditional media to ensure their clients connect and thrive across all available platforms.”

From November 2005 until his 2016 departure, Pizzati was SVP/Major Markets at Cumulus, rising from a VP/Market Manager role over the company’s Mobile-Pensacola and Augusta station groups.

Pizzati explains why he’s decided to launch the Atlanta-based boutique firm.

“More than ever, clients need trusted business advisors that will stand with them,” he said. “With 30 years of advertising leadership and a dynamic team of industry experts, 11 Street will be a trusted partner that provides breakthrough strategies to connect with consumers. Our mission is success—one client at a time.”

Beyond media strategy, 11 Street will focus its efforts on sales process and structure, margin expansion, synergy profiles, recruitment, productivity analysis, customer retention, and management/leadership coaching.

Before joining Cumulus, Pizzati was at Barnstable Broadcasting’s Des Moines stations, where he served as Director of Sales for KKSO-AM, KJJY-FM and KRKQ-FM.
