GatesAir has again expanded its global sales team with the appointment of an outside sales professional who has spent the last five years managing field service and repairs for more than 70 companies in the energy and utility industries.

Avery Schultz will now serve as Regional Sales Manager for New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. She will be based in Dallas and reports to GatesAir Director/Transmission Sales in North America Mark Goins.

New to the broadcast industry, Schultz was previously an Outside Sales Account Manager at IMI Critical Engineering. In the role, Schultz developed and implemented ongoing cost-savings programs for clients.

Prior to IMI, Schultz served a similar role at Emerson Process Management in Houston, where she managed outside sales of measurement technologies (pressure, temperature, and flow transmitters) to oil and gas companies, and led cross-functional collaboration initiatives to improve customer relationships.

Collectively, Schultz’s experience in high technology sales, strategic customer relations and cost reduction programs “offer an ideal convergence of talents for success in an industry faced with challenging transitions, tight deadlines, and evolving efficiency requirements,” GatesAir said.

Joseph Mack, VP/Sales, Americas for GatesAir, added that Schultz’s experience in reducing operational costs for customers “will strongly resonate with all of our broadcast customers that seek to reduce energy consumption, cooling loads, system maintenance, and other costs associated with powering RF operations.”
