TORONTO — It’s been hinted at for months by GeoBroadcast Solutions, the company seeking FCC authorization for its ZoneCasting service that uses FM boosters as unique signal origination transmitters in an effort to bring Radio closer to a broadcast addressable advertising solution.
Now, GBS’s other service, MaxxCasting — designed to improve a fringe signal in an adjacent metropolitan area — is being put to use in Canada thanks to a deal with the owner of “Station of the Year” Boom 97.3 in Toronto.
