GEICO, Ford Pillsbury get major gains in TV spots

Media MonitorsIn the Media Monitors TV Spot Ten for last week, McDonald’s leapt into #1 airing 23,858 spots. Progressive also moved up from #5 to #2 with 20,323 spots, while Publisher’s Clearing House landed at #3 with 16,962 spots. Ford Lincoln Mercury soared from #21 to #4 running 14,371 commercials. Toyota slipped from #1 down to #5 with 13,943 spots, while AT&T took #6 with 13,114 ads. GEICO surged from #18 up to #7 with 12,308 spots and Progresso cooked at #8 for another week airing 12,149 spots. Pillsbury spent some dough and ran 10,721 spots to push them from #14 to #9. Coming in #10, up from #19, was COLGATE with 10,538 spots.
