The latest Spot Ten Cable report from iHeartMedia-owned Media Monitors shows a big gap between the two top auto insurance brands electing to use spot cable as part of their advertising outreach to build consumer awareness and its customer logs.
GEICO is again No. 1, and it has a huge lead over its in-category competitor, at No. 2.
GEICO is at the top spot for the week ending 9 February 2020 with 88,003 spots, Media Monitors finds.
By comparison, the big cable campaign from Liberty Mutual Insurance accounts for 52,164 spots.
Still, the 1-2 punch from auto insurers solidifies the category’s dominance at spot cable, with Progressive at No. 8 and no other brands present in the Spot Ten for Cable.
Otherwise, QSRs are making their mark, led by Taco Bell. At No. 10, with a gain, is Little Caesars.
